Club RulesThe Club is governed by an Executive Board and has produced a Parent’s handbook, “Letting Kids Play Hockey”, which contains the current rules and codes of conduct applicable to all members of the club including players, parents and officials. This is available for download by clicking here.
CoachingOur Head Coach is Rob Saunders, who is the Club Director of Coaching. The Level 2 head team coaches listed below are supported by an ever growing number of parents and older players who are registered as Level 1 Coaches or Managers. Our current team of volunteer staff is as follows:
Training UpA team coach may at his/her discretion issue an invitation via the team manager to a specific player to “train-up”. This means that (say) an U12 player could be given a opportunity to train with the U14 team. The invitation will be considered by the Coach and Manager of the player receiving the invitation before the player is advised. The players' safety will be the primary concern. (Note: Players normally train up one age group. Girls may also train down one age group at the coaches' discretion.) The decision of the Coaching staff is final.
